Emails in Unified Inbox
Having emails in a unified inbox is highly beneficial as it centralizes all communication—alongside messages from chat, social media, and voice—into one streamlined interface. This eliminates the need to switch between platforms, improves response time, reduces missed messages, and ensures your team has full visibility into every customer interaction in one place.
Create a unique forwarding address
You need to create a unique forwarding address in Myma.ai where you will forward all your emails. Once you have created a new Email Channel, follow these instructions to set up email forwarding
Go to Settings > Channels > Connected Channels
Click on the Email Channel to view details
Go to Email Forwarding
Choose your email provider (Google, Microsoft, or Other)
Create a unique email address following the format hotelname-city@@parse.myma-mail.com e.g. [email protected]. Make sure the email domain is parse.myma-mail.com.
Automatically forward email messages to Myma.ai
Now you have your unique email address to set the email forwarding to.
Sign into your email provider and find the settings for email forwarding. Then, save the address above as your forwarding address.
For domain providers requesting a confirmation code, the email with the confirmation code will appear in your Unified Inbox when the verification process is initiated.
Verify that your Unified Inbox is receiving your incoming email by sending a test message. It should appear in your Unified Inbox within 2 minutes of sending the email.
