What is Myma.ai Office add-ins?

Microsoft support third-party programs that can be added to Outlook to help you personalize your inbox. Myma.ai has developed an Add-in that can be added to Outlook and answer emails using the power of AI.

The Myma.ai Outlook add-in is supported in Windows and Online Outlook versions (not Mac).

Installation Prcess

To add an Outlook add-in to your own Outlook without administrator privileges, you can sideload a custom add-in by adding it from the manifest file share by Myma.ai, then enabling it in the "My add-ins" section.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

1. Sideloading a Custom Add-in:

  • Download the Manifest File: Download the manifest file (a .zip or .xml file) from the Myma.ai Dashboard.

  • Access Add-Ins for Outlook: In Outlook, go to File > Manage Add-ins.

  • Select "My Add-ins": In the Add-Ins for Outlook dialog box, select "My add-ins".

  • Add a Custom Add-in: Locate the "Custom Add-ins" section at the bottom of the dialog box, and select "Add a custom add-in" > "Add from File".

  • Install the Add-in: Locate the manifest file you downloaded and install it. Accept all prompts during the installation.

2. Enabling the Add-in:

  • Turn it on:

    After sideloading, go to File > Manage Add-ins again, and under "My add-ins," select the checkbox next to the add-in to enable it.

  • Check for Caching:

    In classic Outlook on Windows, it may take up to 24 hours for your manually sideloaded add-in to appear in the client due to caching.
